Michigan’ s Upper Peninsula was amazing especially by renting a pontoon boat, we had so much fun. Today I also Learned to drive a boat it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Don’t let your fears get in the way of trying something new. I pretty much told myself that their was no way I was going to drive this boat, my family kept saying come on it’s easy and guess what, after much hesitation and watching my brother and friends driving. I felt like this was something I needed to push through, so I pushed my fears aside and let them teach me how to drive the boat.
It was amazing, even though it was just a pontoon boat it had a motor and made me feel like I was racing across that lake. I almost let my fears get the best of me and miss an opportunity for something fun.
As for all the beautiful sights I can’t say enough, we went to Pictured Rocks in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and camped for a week. It’s always fun to drive and stop at overlooks but if you ever get the chance to rent a pontoon boat do it, you can go and see places that would not be possible by driving your car.
Thank you guys, for gently pushing and pressuring me to go out of my comfort zone, because I really did have a great time driving the boat. It really means a lot to me.
