Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to share with you a very fun place that we visited this summer. We were coming back from a trip to Kentucky where we had visited the Mammoth Caves. As we were driving back we all started getting hungry so my dad stopped in a town called LaGrange Kentucky. We found this really neat restaurant that had such an awesome fun menu. But that was only just the part of it, they actually have a train that drives through town in the middle of the street. It was only a few feet from our cars that were in front of the building on main street. This is a must place to visit and don’t forget to check out the One Ninteen West Main restaurant. Potato Cupcake Bites: Mashed Idaho potatoes, sharp cheddar & goat cheese, and country ham chunks, pattied into cute little “cupcake bites”, dusted in Panko and fried up crispy & golden brown on the outside, and cheesy & soft on the inside. Sided with our tangy honey mustard dipping sauce! $5.95

Thanksgiving Fritters: Stuffing, green beans, turkey….all the goodness of Thanksgiving, bundled up in little fritters, set atop pillows of fluffy mashed potatoes, drizzled with turkey gravy, and a side of cranberry sauce!  Oh yeah! $5.99

Railroad Spikes: Truly a One Nineteen original! Pepperoncini peppers stuffed with homemade pimiento cheese, coated with breadcrumbs and fried golden brown, then topped with homemade bell pepper jelly!  Sweet, spicy, & Southern!  $5.99

119 Fries: A large plate of our hand-cut fries topped with our spiced black beans, melty nacho cheese, crushed bacon, a dollop of sour cream, and sprinkled with cheddar-jack cheese, then drizzled with spicy ranch! WOW! Enough to share, for only $6.99

Noobin Reuben Wontons: Shredded corned beef, Swiss cheese, & sauerkraut wrapped in crispy fried wonton shells, and served with our doctored up 119-thousand island dipping sauce! $5.99
Kettle Chip Nachos: Crispy kettle chips, melty cheese sauce, a dollop of sour cream, crushed bacon, and spicy(ish) ranch dressing! $4.99

Fried Pickles: We take whole pickles, slice them into long spears, hand-bread them with Panko breadcrumbs & sizzle them to a crispy, golden brown! Sided with our spicy(ish) ranch. $4.99

Kentucky Eggplant Fries: Another One Nineteen original!  Fresh eggplant, cut into “fries”, dusted in panko breadcrumbs & fried up crispy, served with our avocado dressing for dipping!  Only $5.99 (or substitute as a side for only $2.99)

The Devil Made Me Chew It!: Five creamy, pimiento cheese infused deviled eggs topped with diced country ham & diced red onions, perched atop a “nest” of crispy noodles and we pair it with a “Southern-sized” spoonful of scratch-made green bell-pepper jelly! Y’all are gonna flip when you taste one of these tender, creamy, rich eggs! $5.99

Soups & Stews:

White Chicken Chili: Great Northern beans, onions, garlic, green chiles & adobo-spiced chicken highlight this twist on the original.  Topped with shredded cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and sided with a sweet cornbread muffin! $4.95

Black Beans & Rice: Bell peppers, enchilada sauce, adobo, and about a hundred (and nineteen) other spices in these soup-ish beans, make them unforgettable! Topped with shredded Jack Cheese & a dollop of sour cream!  Holla! (or is that hola?) $4.50

Seared Filet and Portabella Tips: Tender, juicy chunks of beef tenderloin (filet mignon) are best buddies with sauteed chunks of portabella mushrooms in this dish! Kids Fish Fingers: How can you tell if there’s an elephant under your bed?  You can touch the ceiling with your nose.  Yeah, that one is my favorite too.  I digress.  Hand breaded whitefish, with tartar…or ketchup, if you really want.
