Honors Band December 11, 2019
What an amazing evening, I was one of 10 students chosen by other conductors from our district to play for a honors band concert. This was so exciting, so many very talented kids came together for five hours on Saturday then also we had to miss school to have a second practice on Monday then put four songs together and get ready to perform by 7:00 that evening for the public. We were taught by two very famous conductors. The music was challenging but I have to say it sounded wonderful, it was almost as if we had practicing for months together. I am so honored that I was chosen and will remember this for the rest of my life.
