Dad Please Don’t Go Autism Book – Coming Soon
Dad Please Don’t Go autism book is based on a true experience from my life and shares what it can feel like to face something new when you have autism.Going to summer camp was supposed to be exciting, but for me, being away from my dad and not knowing exactly what to expect made it scary.
As the story unfolds, I begin to discover that being afraid doesn’t mean you can’t be brave. With the help of my brother Bryce, new friends, and the people around me, an experience that started with fear became an adventure I would remember.
I wanted to share this story because many kids experience fear and anxiety when they’re faced with something unfamiliar. Sometimes a little understanding, patience, and encouragement can make a huge difference.
Dad, Please Don’t Go: Through The Eyes and Ears of Autism continues my journey of sharing what the world can look and feel like from my perspective. I hope families can read this story together, talk about their own experiences, and remember that everyone handles change differently.
I’m excited to share more about the book as we get closer to its release. Please check back for updates and information about when the book will be available.
A Story for Families and Children
Every new experience can bring a mixture of excitement and uncertainty. My hope is that families reading this story will see that those feelings are okay and that having support from the people around you can make unfamiliar situations easier to face.
The Dad Please Don’t Go autism book is also a reminder of how important friendship, family, patience, and encouragement can be. What began as a scary week at summer camp became an opportunity for me to grow, make memories, and discover that sometimes the things we are most afraid to try can become experiences we are glad we had.
I can’t wait to share this story with you!
