Winter Drumline 2022

I am having such a great time with our winter drumline, we play stand cheers and also do a halftime show for the girls and boys basketball games. It’s sad that marching band is over but having a winter drumline allows me to continue my skills on the bass an still hang out with al my friends.

Why I Enjoy Winter Drumline

Winter drumline has been a great way for me to keep enjoying music after marching band season ends. Instead of having to wait until the next marching band season, I get to continue playing, practicing, and spending time with my friends.

One of my favorite parts of winter drumline is getting to perform during basketball games. We play stand cheers and perform at halftime for both the girls and boys basketball games. It gives us another opportunity to perform in front of a crowd and bring some extra energy to the games.

Playing bass drum also gives me a chance to continue improving my skills. Every practice and performance helps me become more comfortable with the music and work together with the rest of the drumline. Being part of the group is about more than just playing music. It is also about working together, having fun, and making memories with friends.

Keeping the Music Going

Marching band may be over for the season, but winter drumline gives me something fun to look forward to. I enjoy being able to continue playing music instead of putting everything away until the next marching season.

I am glad I decided to be part of this group and continue playing music with my friends. Between the practices, basketball games, halftime performances, and time spent with friends, it has been a fun experience and a great way to keep doing something I enjoy.
