I was so excited to see the Macomb Daily autism article published today! The article shares my story, my love of music, and the digital magazine I created about living with autism.
People will now be able to learn more about our first digital magazine and also enjoy the blog that my brother and I have been working on for the last few years. It is exciting to have the opportunity to share some of our experiences with more people.
Music has always been a very important part of my life. Marching band, playing drums, and performing have helped me meet people, build confidence, and do things that I might not have thought I could do when I was younger.
The Macomb Daily autism article also gives me another opportunity to talk about autism from my own point of view. Everyone with autism is different, and I think sharing our own experiences can help other people understand that.
If any of our stories help even one parent, student, or family who is learning about autism, then all of the hard work that went into the magazine and this website was worth it.
